More than grammar: Portuguese with soul and rhythm
Brazil is not just where I was born—it is the language I dream in, the warmth of spontaneous conversations, and the feeling of saudade. Based in Antwerp, I help beginners fall in love with real Brazilian Portuguese naturally, joyfully, and without the fear of making mistakes.

From Curitiba to Antwerp: a life lived in translation
I grew up in Curitiba, in southern Brazil, where language was an inheritance rather than merely a communication tool. After studying Literature and Linguistics, my journey took me across Europe—living, adapting, and navigating life in Italy, the Netherlands, and finally Belgium. Moving across cultures taught me what it truly means to be a beginner struggling to find the right words. Through every transition, Portuguese remained the language that brought me home. Today, in Antwerp, I bring that vibrant connection directly to you.

The sounds first, the rules second
You cannot learn Brazilian Portuguese cold from a rigid textbook. I teach the real, expressive language people speak in everyday life. We start with rhythm, warmth, and sound, connecting new vocabulary to concepts you already understand. Using music, soap operas (novelas), lively cultural anecdotes, and lots of laughter, I make making mistakes completely safe. Before you start worrying about intricate verb conjugations, you will fall in love with how the language feels on your tongue.

Two decades of linguistic craft and teaching experience
With degrees in Literature and Linguistics from UTFPR and Literature and French from UFPR, my background includes formal training in syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Over the past twenty years, I have taught aviation English to commercial pilots, translated professionally for a decade, guided students to TOEFL success, and even completed Harvard's Introduction to Computer Science in 2025. I am not simply a native speaker; I am a dedicated guide who has walked every step of the multilingual journey.
"Learning with a teacher who truly understands the immigrant experience and linguistics made all the difference. In just a few months, Brazilian Portuguese went from an intimidating mystery to the language I love speaking every day."
A happy student in Antwerp
